How to integrate Housecall Pro to Filter using Appy Pie Automate?

1. Start by creating an account on Appy Pie Automate. Once logged in, click on ‘Create Connect’ to begin setting up your automation.

 

 

2. Select Housecall Pro as a Trigger app.

 

 

3. Select New Contact as your trigger event and click Continue.

 

 

4. Click Add an Account to add your account to Housecall Pro.

 

 

5. Select your account and click Continue.

 

 

6. A “Run Test is Successful” message will appear. Click Continue to proceed to the Action application.

 

 

7. Select Filter by Automate under Appy Pie Apps section as an action app.

 

 

8. Choose the “Only continue if…” action event and click Continue.

 

 

9. Provide all the details of the Set Up part and click Continue & Run Test.

 

 

10. After a successful mapping, click on the plus icon as shown below and select Add App.

 

 

11. Now select Google Sheets as another action app.

 

 

12.  Select Create Spreadsheet Row as an action event and click Continue. 

 

 

13. Click Add an Account to add your account to Google Sheets.

 

 

14. After selecting your account, click Continue.

 

 

15. Map all the details of the Set Up part and then click Continue & Run Test.

 

 

16. A “Run Test is Successful” message will appear. Click Activate Connect to activate it.

 

 

17. Following is the use case output of the above Connect:

 

 

A new contact is created in Housecall Pro with fields like First Name, Last Name, Address and Email. On creation of a customer, the same data is updated in the Google Sheet, with the help of “Filter By Automate” app. 

 

The “Only Continue if..” is the action event here which is followed by a given condition in the email field, if it contains “.com”. As the condition is fulfilled, this app (Filter by Automate)  of Appy Pie, filters and checks for matching details as per the mapping. The mapped data is then reflected in the Google Sheet.
