    Appy Pie: How To Obtain Push Credentials For Your Android Dating App?

    Follow the steps below to obtain push credentials for your Android Dating App:

    Step 1. Go to Twilio. If you have a Twilio account, log in, else Signup.
     

    Step 2. Click Explore Products under the Develop tab. 



    Step 3. Under All Products, click Programmable Communications.



    Step 4. Click Notify in the Programmable Communications section.



    Step 5. Under the Notify dropdown menu, click Services.



    Step 6. In the Services section, click the + icon.



    Step 7. Enter a name for your Notify service, then click Create.



    Step 8. Once your Notify service is created, you will find the Service ID and other details on the Configuration page. Now, you need to create an FCM credential to select a value for the FCM Credential SID field. Click here to create an FCM credential.
    Note: If you have already created an FCM credential, then you can select the FCM credential SID from the dropdown.
     

    Step 9. In the Mobile Push Credentials section, click the + icon.



    Step 10. A popup will open where you need to provide the required details to create a new credential.



    Step 11. Enter a name in the Friendly Name field and select FCM Push Credentials as the credential type from the dropdown menu.



    Step 12. Enter the FCM secret key and once you have provided the required details, click Create.
    To obtain the FCM secret key, refer to: https://www.appypie.com/faqs/sitename-how-to-get-firebase-server-key
    Note: Ensure to use the same Firebase Server key/FCM secret key in the Settings section of your Appy Pie’s account and also in the FCM secret key field in Twilio.



    Step 13. Once your FCM credential is created, you will find your Credential SID in the Properties section. Copy the Credential SID, and then click Services under the Notify menu.



    Step 14. In the Services section, click the Name of the service you created.



    Step 15. Open the FCM Credential SID dropdown menu.



    Step 16. Select the FCM Credential SID value that you created in the above steps from the dropdown menu, and then click Save.



    Step 17. Paste the copied Credential SID in the respective field on the creator software.
