Verifying ownership of your domain on search engines helps improve your visibility in search results. You can verify your site with Google Search Console by adding the meta tag’s content value to your site created with Appy Pie.

2. Select the URL Prefix property type and enter your full URL.
Note: To get this URL, go to your Business Dashboard page of Appy Pie and select your respective website that has a domain linked with it.
a. Click on Manage Website.

b. Click Publish Now.

c. Copy the Site Address (URL) as shown.

3. Paste the obtained URL on the Google Console Page. Click Continue.

4. Go to Other Verification methods and click the Expand icon next to HTML tag.

5. Copy the content value (for example: ICpCR1fMlzgYSTdywoksnCJlNmCUEun_PtPgxVJTE-k) of the meta tag and leave the Google Console open.

Add your meta tag to your site
To verify your ownership, use the meta tag content value provided by Google Search Console.
To add your meta tag content value in Appy Pie:
a. Go to your Appy Pie Editor.
b. Click Settings and select SEO & Analytics.
c. Under the SEO & Analytics section, click the Add Verification Tag on the Google Search Console card.
d. Paste your verification code in the Google Search Console Verification box.
Note: Copy only the content value of the meta tag.

Now complete the site verification on Google Console:
1. Go back to Google Search Console.
2. Click Verify.

3. Once verified, you will see this pop up.
