How to connect a domain purchased elsewhere to your Appy Pie account?

You can connect a domain you've already purchased from another provider to your Appy Pie site.

To connect a third-party domain to your Appy Pie account, please follow these steps:

• Visit the "My Domains" page in your Appy Pie account and click on the "Connect a domain you already own" button.
  
  

• Enter the Domain or Subdomain name that you want to connect to your Appy Pie account in the pop-up box, and then click on the "Configure" button.
  
  
  
  

• Now configure the record on your domain provider and complete the following steps:

  1. Login to your domain provider.

  2. Click DNS to the right of your domain.

  3. Update the CNAME record.

  4. Click ADD at the bottom right.
     
     

  5. Click the Type drop-down and select the CNAME option.
  6. Under the Name field, enter www
  7. Under the Value field, enter cname.pwastore.com
  8. Click the TTL dropdown and select Default.
  9. Once done, click Save.
     
  
  

• Go back to the Appy Pie's domain section and wait for 24- 48 hours to validate. It may take up to 48 hours for your domain's new DNS records to propagate and your site to appear worldwide. Once done, you need to connect domain to the website.
