How to connect your GoDaddy domain to Appy Pie via Pointing?

Connect your GoDaddy domain to Appy Pie by updating your DNS records in GoDaddy. 
Note that when connected via pointing, Appy Pie is unable to help you manage your DNS because the records are hosted at GoDaddy. You'll need to contact GoDaddy if you need help with your DNS.

To connect your GoDaddy domain via pointing:

1. Sign in to your GoDaddy account.

2. Click the user profile icon at the top right and select My Products. 
   
   

3. Click DNS to the right of your domain. 

4. Update the A record that has @ in the Name column.

• Click the Edit icon to the right of the A record that has @ in the Name column. 
  
  
  

• Enter 162.215.226.7 in the Value field.

• Click Save.
  
  Note: If you don't have an A record with @ in the Name column, add one. To add a A record with @ in the Name column (if you don't already have one) follow the below steps:
  
  

• Click ADD at the bottom right.
  
  

• Click the Type drop-down and select A. 

• Under the Name field, enter @. 

• Under the Value field, enter 162.215.226.7. 

• Once done, click Save. 
  
  

       5. Update the CNAME record that has www in the Name column. 

• Click the Edit icon to the right of the CNAME record that has in the Name column. 
  
  
  

• In the Value field, enter cname.pwastore.com

• Click Save. 
  
  

  Note: If you don't have a CNAME record with  under Name, create one (see below).
  
  

• Click ADD at the bottom right. 
  
  
  
• Click the Type drop-down and select CNAME option.
• Under the Name field, enter www.

• Under the Value field, enter cname.pwastore.com

• Once done, click  Save.
  
  

Go back to the Appy Pie's domain section and wait for 24- 48 hours to validate. It may take up to 48 hours for your domain's new DNS records to propagate and your site to appear worldwide. Once done, you need to connect domain to the website.
